UPVC vs. Aluminium windows

Choosing the right window material is one of the most important decisions in any building project. Two of the most common options are UPVC and aluminium, each with different strengths in terms of insulation, design flexibility, and cost.

While aluminium is often used for very large sliding doors and ultra-slim architectural designs, UPVC windows are widely considered the superior choice for thermal insulation, soundproofing, and overall cost efficiency in most residential projects.

Understanding the differences between these materials helps homeowners, architects, and developers make better decisions for long-term comfort and performance.

What are German Tilt & Turn windows?

The German Tilt&Turn system offers versatility and functionality, making it a popular choice for all kind of homes. German windows typically open to the inside!

With this innovative design, a single window can be opened in two distinct ways: tilting inwards (open at the top to the inside) for ventilation or swing open to the side for easy cleaning and access.

Tropical Comfort Home

Managing Sunlight & Heat in Indonesia

A well-designed Comfort Home delivers more than visual appeal and pleasant daylight. By controlling sunlight and heat through high-performance windows, solar-protective glazing, and effective shading, indoor comfort is significantly improved while energy consumption is reduced.

In tropical climates like Jakarta, Bali, and across Indonesia, smart window and shading solutions are not an upgrade—they are a strategic investment in comfort, efficiency, and long-term performance.

Window Prices in Indonesia

Premium windows are not standardized.

Even when two windows have the same dimensions, their final price can differ significantly depending on specification, performance requirements, design choices, currency fluctuations, and installation conditions.

Laminated Double Glazing 44.2TF/12Ar/4

Not all double glazing is the same. Most locally made double glass (U-value around 3.0 W/m²K) provides only limited insulation. In contrast, our 100% imported insulated glazing — available as double (U-value from 1.1 W/m²K) or triple glazing (U-value from 0.6 W/m²K) — offers superior thermal and acoustic performance.

Filled with argon gas and equipped with a Low-E coating, these high-performance units keep interiors cooler, reduce energy costs, and protect furniture from fading due to UV exposure. Perfect for tropical climates, they ensure year-round comfort, energy efficiency, and long-lasting quality.

FAQ Frequently asked questions

1. What materials are available?

UPVC, Aluminium, and exclusive Steel window and door systems.

2. What window types are available?

We can supply virtually all window types commonly available in Germany and Europe. Our most popular solution is the German tilt & turn system, which combines excellent ventilation, ease of cleaning, and outstanding weather performance.

In the tilt position, the window opens slightly inward at the top for secure and controlled ventilation. In the turn position, it opens fully inward like a door, providing maximum ventilation and easy access for cleaning.

In addition to tilt & turn windows, we can also supply:

• Fixed windows
• Casement windows (inward or outward opening)
• Sliding doors
• Tilt & slide systems
• Bay windows and special shapes
• Lift & Slide doors

For projects that require familiar local solutions, we can also provide the outward-swinging windows commonly used in Indonesia.

Because all of our products are custom manufactured, we can combine different opening types and configurations to suit the architectural design, functional requirements, and climatic conditions of each project.

3. What makes your glass different?

Most windows in Indonesia are still supplied with single glazing, which consists of only one pane of glass. While this is a cost-effective solution, it offers limited insulation against heat and noise.

Our systems are different. We use insulated glazing as a minimum standard, typically consisting of double glazing with a Low-E coating and Argon gas filling between the panes.

This combination provides several important advantages:

• Reduced heat transfer into the building• Improved indoor comfort and more stable temperatures• Lower reliance on air conditioning and potentially reduced energy costs• Better sound insulation from outside noise• Reduced condensation on the interior glass surface• Excellent natural daylight without excessive solar heat gain

The result is a window system that delivers significantly better comfort and performance than conventional single-glazed windows. For projects with particularly demanding requirements, we can also supply specialized glazing solutions, including enhanced solar control, acoustic glazing, safety glass, and triple glazing.

4. Are Your Products Suitable for the Tropical Climate?

Yes. Our window and door systems are particularly well suited for tropical climates such as Indonesia.

The products we supply are designed to withstand demanding weather conditions and can be specified with glazing options that help reduce heat gain while maintaining bright and comfortable interiors. Depending on the project requirements, solutions can be selected to improve thermal comfort, reduce air conditioning usage, and enhance sound insulation.

The systems are also highly resistant to humidity, heavy rainfall, and strong UV exposure. High-quality hardware and weather seals ensure smooth operation and reliable performance for many years.

Every project is different, which is why we help our clients select the most suitable system configuration, glazing specification, and accessories for their specific location and performance requirements.

5. What products can you supply?

  • Insect screens
  • Garage doors
  • Roller shutters

7. How do I get a consultation and price information?

Contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email, or through our website. We will discuss your requirements and arrange a consultation or site visit if required.

For a first price indication, send us some photos or drawings with basic dimensions, frame color and other requirements. We usually provide prices on the same day or within 24 hours.

8. How do I order?

After understanding your project requirements, we prepare a quotation and product specification. Once the order is confirmed and the initial payment has been received, manufacturing will commence.

9. How are your prices?

Our products are not inexpensive, and we do not aim to compete with low-cost, mass-market solutions. We focus on supplying premium European window and door systems that offer superior engineering, performance, and long-term value.

Compared to many exclusive local products in Indonesia, our systems often provide better overall performance in areas such as thermal insulation, sound reduction, weather resistance, hardware quality, and durability. In addition, our products are individually customized to suit the requirements of each project.

For clients who value quality, comfort, and long-term performance, our products represent an excellent investment and a highly competitive alternative within the premium market segment.

10. Do you Accept Small orders?

Yes. We can also supply products for smaller projects, such as replacing the windows of a single bedroom to improve sound insulation, comfort, or energy efficiency.

As our products are individually manufactured and imported from overseas, smaller orders depend on consolidation with other orders for shipment to Indonesia. As a result, delivery times for small orders may be longer than for larger projects.

Please contact us with your requirements, and we will be happy to advise on the most suitable solution and estimated time based on the current delivery schedule.

11. What are the payment terms?

Our standard payment terms are:

  • 50% down payment upon order confirmation
  • 50% balance payment once the products have arrived in Indonesia and are ready for inspection by the client before delivery and installation.

12. What is the delivery time?

Delivery times depend on the product specification and manufacturing schedule. An estimated timeline will be provided during the quotation process. We aim for around three month for full projects:

  • Preparation and production: 2-6 weeks
  • Shipment and import: 5-8 weeks

Delivery times are estimates only, may vary, and cannot be guaranteed but it is of our own best interest to complete projects as efficient as possible.

13. How are the products delivered?

Products are imported by container and delivered to our warehouse in Indonesia. From there, they are transported by truck to project locations throughout Indonesia.

14. What exactly is imported?

The products are imported as complete systems, including frames, hardware, glass, gaskets, and accessories. There is no local assembly or substitution of components.

15. Do you provide installation service?

Yes. Installation is carried out by our own experienced installation teams to ensure professional workmanship and proper system performance. We do not use sub-contractors or unskilled installers.

16. Do you provide after-sales service and warranty?

Yes. We remain available after project completion to provide support, adjustments, maintenance guidance, and long-term service whenever required. Our products are subject to typical European warranty terms for up to ten years.

17. Where can I see samples?
